Meet the CMS Administrators

Principal Mr. Brad SnowPrincipal Mr. Brad Snow:  I am excited to be principal at Collinsville Middle School for a variety of reasons. This is a crucial age where students are beginning to make decisions that will impact their adult lives. I can work with the families and the great staff that is already in place to continue meeting the needs of Unit 10 students. I feel honored, blessed, and Kahok Proud.

I have a BS in Elementary Education, an MS in Instructional Technology, ED.S. in Education Administration and a Superintendent Certificate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  I joined Collinsville CUSD #10 as a 4th grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary for 3 years. I taught 6th grade at Dorris Intermediate School for 4 years, before becoming principal of Webster Elementary School for 6 years.

I live in Troy with my wife Marla, currently a reading specialist in the Triad school district. Our daughter Lainey has a degree in Accounting from SWIC and is currently attending SIUE majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. Our son Hunter, just graduated from Triad High School and is attending SWIC majoring in Criminal Justice.

I have been a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader, coached many youth sports teams, and am an active member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. My hobbies include woodworking and anything outdoors.

Please be aware regularly scheduled safety drills are held at each campus.  These include crisis lock-downs, tornado/weather drills, as well as fire drills, in order to maintain your child/students safety.

Collinsville Middle School utlizes the OPENGATE threat detection system to screen students,  staff and visitors at building entrances.  CMS also boasts a large security camera system including infrared, PTZ, and stationary cameras. This system provides an “additional tool” in maintaining a safer school environment to CMS students.
